Possible design concepts of our technology platform to be used at home, in doctor's offices and hospitals are shown below:
The first one illustrates a test device which would slot into a socket that is connected to the USB port of a PC or PDA. Such a device is envisaged to be used in the GP surgery, where the tests are performed during the patient consultation and the results are then transferred into the GP software.

The second design concept is a small portable reading device (similar size to a memory stick) into which the test devices could be plugged. The reading part then displays the test results. This could be used for monitoring of chronic diseases in a home testing setting.

The last design concept is a stand-alone device with integrated display to show the quantitative test result. Again this could be used in a variety of settings including home testing.
